Dr. Ronald D. Boyd is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), ordained minister, retired army chaplain, and disabled combat veteran with over 15 years of counseling experience. Ron can assist those who are seeking help in coping with low self-esteem, trauma, PTSD, addictions, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, infidelity, grief, and more. He has demonstrated a willingness to engage in both the spiritual and psychological avenues of mental health.

Ron holds Master’s degrees in Counseling, Divinity, and Religion and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He has served as a doctoral candidate advisor and as an adjunct professor in the fields of counseling and religion. Dr. Boyd’s specialties include pre-marriage counseling, marriage and family therapy, veteran’s issues, trauma counseling, grief counseling, sexual addictions, and depression and anxiety work. He has served as a Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) for the U.S. Army and holds certifications in a variety of evidence-based practices and modalities. His counseling style is warm, person-centered, and solutions-focused.
