Veterans

Serenity Care Counseling Services partners with Centerstone to offer FREE counseling services for veterans, active-duty military, and their families.

How can Centerstone help?

Military life can be incredibly challenging. Long deployments, exposure to combat situations, frequent relocations and even temporary duty assignments that take service members away from home and their families.

These challenges impact not only service members but also their spouses and children in a variety of ways, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders and family and relationship problems. Many of these effects can last long after leaving the military.

We have long provided mental health care to military personnel, veterans and their family members. Our providers are specifically trained in military culture, so they understand their clients’ unique challenges and struggles in that respect.

Who can receive free counseling from Centerstone’s Military Services?

Active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their family members who live in Hawaii and North Carolina can see one of our specialized counselors at no cost. Each person can get up to 12 visits with us completely free.
